I'm past my due date and my doctor is thinking of inducing me on the 24th and my next appointment is tomorrow. Do yall think she will do a membrane sweep tomorrow to try to start labor because she hasn't even mentioned it to me. I really don't wanna be induced I heard it hurts way more.

I had a membrane sweep with my first and it didn't work but you have to ask for them. It is uncomfortable and you start to feel more pressure but it's not unbearable

Yeah, "natural" inducing didn't work for me. :/ Truthfully nothing "natural" will work if your body isn't ready, so don't stress too much about that @elenasmommmy (Being induced isn't awful, but not something you want if you can avoid it.) Hopefully a membrane sweep can help!

I was scheduled to be induced but my baby came on her own the morning of. you can try things to get her out on your own. like walking. I had sex the night before and fell asleep after my man cummed inside me and woke up in the middle of the night with contractions.

It all depends on if you're dilated enough to even do the sweep I couldn't get swept because I wasn't dilated at all but if you are I'm sure the doctor wouldn't mind to try to avoid inducing you.

It's uncomfortable for sure and isn't garaunteed to work but it does sometimes help get things moving

I wouldn't do the membrane sweep, there's really no need for it at all. Baby will come when he/she is ready; just try some natural baby inducers :)

I've heard membrane sweeps hurt. @elenasmommmy Also, it's a 50/50 chance of working. I think you have to ask them to do the membrane sweep.

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Transgender children So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do u think the parents are behind this? Idk because I haven't met the parents or children. I just think at 5 it's very young for children to really understand. What do u ladies think?
