I feel like im going to the wrong Dr's. I only have 2 ultrasound appointments & every time I go to the Dr I'm in and out…

Have they done blood tests and urine samples? Mine does a urine sample every appointment and did a slew of blood tests early on. I'm only 17wks so I can help as much as early moms but I'd think they're just doing the normal quick visits right now if you're not high risk.

Yes, an early dating and later anatomy is standard for number of ultrasounds. They monitor glucose and protein in your urine, your blood pressure, and listen to baby. Be grateful your appointments are uneventful, this means everything is going great!

That's How Most Doctors Are. They Don't Wanna' Do Too Many Ultrasounds Unless They Have To Because It's Not Healthy For The Baby.

That's pretty normal. You usually only get 2 maybe 3 ultrasounds during your pregnancy. And unless you're a high risk, have any abnormal test results or symptoms then they do more. Take it as a good sign. I know it's hard. Cause we just get worried. I know I do at times.

yes they have done that. I just took the sugar test yesterday but I've only seen my baby twice and it seems like they only measured her and checked her brain and stuff

Yeah that's pretty normal unless you have complications. They do a confirmation ultrasound, 20 week ultrasound & one towards the end to see baby's position!

I feel the same way. I feel like they don't do much. I'm 32 weeks about to be 33 & last ultrasound was at 20 weeks 😾

my Dr did one every trimester but ever dr is different some only do 1 at 20 weeks..... I was always in and out like that even at my 38 week appointment (I had a c-section at 39 weeks) unless I had questions

Sounds like a regular ob visit to me, though you might get another sono closer to the end just depends on your dr.

They don't do ultrasounds every visit at most Drs anymore luckily I went to my dr who delivered my daughter and he told me he just won't print of a picture at every visit but he will do an ultrasound to make sure things are done

I agree with what everyone else is saying but my appointments were every 2 weeks and now once a week because I'm in the last month of pregnancy. I was really sick in the beginning and then had low iron in the beginning of the 3rd trimester though.
