Newborn pic day!😂

Feeling pretty poopy but wanted to post that my little guy made it earth side last night around 7pm after making it to 6cm on pitocin induction after a morning OB appointment with high bp and protein in my urine. They found a raging UTI at the hospital and once the bp went over 200 likely due to pain we opted for the epidural vs the possible emergency csection. A little ahead of the July 9th schedule, meet Nile Evan Gaines, mommies.

Help! Long! Best advice on how to deal with a partner who has a short temper, gets angry and storms off not to talk to you until you apologize (even if you don't really feel there is a reason to do so- ie he got mad because we moved and I can't put the guest room bed together alone while super pregnant and he is an engineer and it's an easy fix but yet he gave up after 5 min and stormed off when I gave advice on how it went together since it was my old IKEA bed). I just had a lady in a motorized wheelchair back up her chair into my table and the chair opposite of me at a restaurant...suddenly moving the table towards me about 6 inches and hit my belly as it smashed it up against me. I've never wanted to yell or punch someone in a wheelchair but today was the day. No I'm sorry or pardon me or look back at me as if she cared. Ugh!!! I'm the first to care for others around me and now I'm angry and my belly doesn't feel great.

Anyone take the gestational diabetes test around 21.5 weeks and easily pass and the doc is making you take it again closer to 28 weeks just to make sure you don't develop it later down the line? I'm so bummed since I thought I was already in the clear. Is this normal? (Please answer only if you have had this happen to you or have a nursing type background. Ugh! As if feeling crappy and being pregnant wasn't enough I was walking one of my dogs and he pulled and I feel down the last stair of my small flight of stairs (didn't fall thankfully) but did sprain or tear something in my foot. I thought it was going to be ok but it keeps getting more painful. :-(

Anyone find a cute purse looking black diaper bag online? Still trying to narrow it down and want it to be neutral, good quality, but not over $200. (This may be my one splurge)

Ok, I think I may have my baby boy's name picked but honestly it's just cause I can't find anything I love and this one keeps popping in my mind. I want something simple to say for my SO's Ethiopian family and possibly honors my dad who passed recently (John- but I don't love the name "John" or his middle name Raymond).
