Does anyone elses doctor ONLY do weekly visits at 36+ weeks? Mine doesn't do the every 2 weeks starting at 30ish weeks. So up until I'm 36 weeks I'm still only being seen every 4 weeks since she doesn't offer the every 2 week visits. I know normally people go every 4 weeks then every 2 weeks then weekly. Wish mine did it that way.

Thank you @gingyrex I'm sure I'll be fine. I take my glucose test in exactly 2 weeks and that will help paint a better picture as to if I'll be fine.
Yeah I've also heard some people say their midwife told them to use castor oil to induce, which I'd never do. It's just crazy there really isn't a set 'norm' per say. I know everyone and every doctor are different. @chichi1975
Hmmm every office is different heck I'm high risk and of as now i see a specialist and a reg obgyn every four weeks but others that are high risk do weekly now so not sure

Right. I figured they'd check for dilation and such since alot of stuff doesn't pop up until the end. Hoping all is well until my weekly visits at 36 weeks. @gingyrex
That's how I've always heard it done but she doesn't even offer biweekly visits just monthly then weekly. @chichi1975 @rainbowbaby2015
my doctor does two week appointments starting 27 weeks and then at 35 weeks hell do weekly appointments.
Thats not normal! Starting at 27 weeks he started seeing me every two, at 36 he will start to see me every week

I thought so too. I love my doctor she's amazing so I really don't want to switch I just hope everything is ok until I get to 36 weeks. @aimeewhitt
I haven't had any problems so far so I'm considered low risk I'm assuming unless something happens then they may go to something different? Just speculation on my part @amiasmommy

I started every 2weeks at mine, but they don't do every week til 37 weeks which sucks.

Had my last 2 week ck up today baby is doing great , next week is the start of my weekly visits , so excited to be so close, come on August 1st !!!!!!
when do you start seeing doctor weekly? i thought at 36 weeks but my doctor is still doing every 2 weeks and my next appointment is may 19 close to my due date?

Have my 32+5 week appointment next week. Still only being seen every 4 weeks. Have 1 more 4 week appointment then at 36 weeks I'll be seen weekly.
