son getting out of car seat
son getting out of car seat So a couple days ago my son started getting himself out of his car seat while we are on the road. He will be 2 years old May 27th. He pushes the chest clip all the way down and pulls his arms and shoulders out of the straps but is still buckled at the waist. Today he did it 4 times, we had to pull over every time. What do you guys do when they start doing this? My Britax came with these long rubber strap covers but I took them off a while ago when he was to small for them. Are they to stop him from pushing the chest clip down? I just want to know if these will help before I take it apart to put them back on.

they say the straps adjust concerns me. my son is super smart and I'm sure he'll figure out how to move them :/ my SO and I liked the seats until we saw how we adjust the straps @wonderland1202 @valerie_jean

a little pricy but well worth it I have this car seat for my daughter and it's amazing and it's a convertible car seat

I think as long as you have him strapped in correctly he can't move the straps.

target is having some car seats on sale . idk if they're convertible though
