go to the er the antibiotics will help the pain after 2 days or so and give u something for the pain that's safe for the baby then get to a dentist asap and get it pulled, if u let the infection get worse that is what will hurt the baby not the meds

They're still gonna put u on antibiotics for infection or to prevent it. U surely don't need to get an infection or absess girl!

well, when I was nine wks preg I had a root canal and a crown done. I mean they're not gonna give u meds that u can't take..

They won't until you're in your second trimester

however if you have an abscess tooth you should go to er. if infected it can be bad for baby. they will give you safe antibiotics to keep infection away. They will not give you anything that's not safe for baby so don't worry about that:) @merck215

not showing has nothing to do with it. once you tell them, they'll test to confirm your pregnancy and contact your ob and ask him or her what they should do. hospitals don't over look pregnancy due to showing or not. you're PREGNANT that's another human being in you. they have so things upon a policy that's safe for your baby once they know you're pregnant or else you can sue.

I know hun. but the Er can't do it. the only thing they can do is give you something for your pain, and refer you to someone to take care of it. as long as you let them know you are pregnant that baby is safe regardless what they do to you. @merck215

they're gonna see you're pregnant. they'd have to give you pregnancy safe medication or else that's a lawsuit on their hands. but best I can tell you is find a place that will work with you and get it pulled out.

I finally got a release from my doctor to see my dentist you have to wait till at least your 2nd trimester it sucks but I made an appointment first thing Monday morning

most likely not. if anything they're gonna prescribe you to some meds and tell you to go see a orthodontist for your tooth
