Just got my doppler and my babys heart beat is at 142-143. Ugh. My niece came in and heard it too lol. Now baby is moving up a storm. I seriously almost cried this morning because there was a box in the mail box but it was for my fiance and I relooked at the ebay page and it still said out for delivery and my niece was telling me that the mailman wouldnt come back and I seriously wanted to cry. I was so excited for it and the mailman dropped it off in between our screen and door and I screamed thank you to him. I am so relieved it works and I know where to put it later when babe gets home to let him hear too.

most babies react like crazy to Doppler's since it sounds like a train going by to them lol. my girl tries to kick it so hard.

@mylittleprincess, i swear its a boy because he is all ready buddy buddy with daddy and never acts out but when im not with him at night like when i stay at my parents the baby kicks me like crazy.

lol. based off the heart rate theory, you'd be having a boy. so maybe! but we all know the accuracy of those wives tales. :p

I looked up like 20 of them with mine. half said girl half said boy. but the heart rate one was right. hers was 170 and she's a girl lol
