I would not allow it if they other baby wasn't the sibling, and even then I wouldn't allow it very often.

I think I would be a little weirded out mostly because it's not someone who is related. 3yr olds can definatly identify differences. I don't think I would bathe toddlers of the opposite sex together related or not.

I am ok with a sibling of the same sex. but she is an only child save for our bun in the oven. but I am not ok with a strangers child.

totally agree! my nephew and daughter are only 7 months apart but before they were 2 I stopped allowing my sister to bath them together bc it's just not something I wanted to explain that young and didn't think it was appropriate bc they weren't siblings...i don't even let her bath with her half brother and it makes her dad so mad bc she will refuse to bath with her half brother when she's at their house bc she knows mommy doesn't like it...she's 5 and he's 2

I would like to mention that I have only met their son twice in his life. I am not at all comfortable with what she said. however she tends to go behind my back and do what I tell her not to constantly.

I see the problem but at the same time, I've seen an done the same thing easier to bathe to children at same time it's not like they have that sexual mentality, and I think if the age gap was larger the issue might be a bit more bothersome but it is your child

@kermi86, same thing here. also the risk of sexual harassment is too risky to me. I know they wouldn't mean it but I feel its just not worth the possible risks.

I bathe my 4 yr old daughter and 5 yr old nephew together if I have him over. but it's always a bubble bath. I guess it would be different if they weren't related. Besides that he's your son. right or wrong your mother should respect your choices.

@carlismommy12, he isn't my son. he's her employers son. I only have a daughter. that's why I feel it is not appropriate.

@tattoookimama, well my daughter was an early explorer. she discovered her girly parts a year ago and tries to shove things up there. it worries me. especially with a male child. I don't want them getting curious and something transpire... it just makes me very uncomfortable.

@lakilucid, my daughter discovered herself early too never with anything but her hands, her Dr said never discourage them just tell them you do that private time bc more u stress no etc on something w/that they wanna do more etc.. and w/ them this young they haven't really been exposed to the over sexualization of the world. and they are still so young

she tends to use whatever she can get her hands on. I tell her that she shouldn't shove things there as it could hurt her and that she should only touch there in private. it just worries me with other children because she's so curious

I used to bathe with my little brother until a certain age, obviously with parental supervision, I don't see a problem with siblings bathing together but someone else's child, I wouldn't do it either

I would have to agree with you. I personally have 2 boys and 1 girl right. Praying baby #4 is a girl too, anyways my younger two did bathe together. That was only with me in there and it was only til he was about 1 because after she turned 3 I thought it was wrong. And they are brother and sister. So yes I would not never okay with a child that isn't related to bathe together. Stick to your guns mama and let her know it's strictly forbidden.

I fully intend to. if I find out its happened as much as I love my mother I will tell the other parents and possibly take legal action.
