🚨URGENT, needing opinions!🚨 Ladies!, I'm so torn! I really don't know who all I want in the delivery room with me. My parents are making it a super hard decision, they have been divorced since I was an infant and they can't stand each other. My dad is saying if my mom is in the room he wouldn't care to be there, thing is, my dads been the one who has really been here for me through out my whole pregnancy. My mom on the other hand hasn't been there for me our relationship is extremely rocky, she can't stand my fiance and makes it really awkward, so that makes me not want her even in the delivery room, I just don't want to hurt her feelings. Then again I don't want my man to feel awkward or that he shouldn't be there cause of the way my mom is towards him when I'm giving birth to his daughter, it's supposed to be a beautiful happy day and I'm afraid with her there it will just make it all bad. So ladies I need your opinions what would you do?!. I'm thinking of just having it be my man and I in the room while I'm giving birth so no one can ruin this special moment for us! I really would love my family to be there though too but we are all just way to dysfunctional around one another. Help me figure this out mama's!

I would say let it be just your baby's dad be in there. You don't want drama and your family will be able to be there for you when you get out of delivery. That way no one's feelings get hurt.

Choose whom ever you feel will add to the beautiful experience not take away. You don't want any bad vibes, anyone feeling uncomfortable.. If you can't choose between your mom & dad, just have your bf there.. That way neither one feels left out. Good luck!

I'd say choose what makes YOU the most comfortable! Labor will be easier if you're not worrying.

@hottamalee, @mamashane89 , thanks ladies that's what I'm leaning towards, that's my main concern is someone taking away from our very special experience, it's my first too so I want nothing but good energy and vibes and to look back and not regret anything, it's just hard when it has to do with family

chose who will make the day a much better experince. if your mom stresses you out don't have her there. my midwife said if you don't want to hurt feelings the nurses can do it for you if your mom is trying to get into the room. it's your and your finances big day. it's not about her or her feelings

You won't want a bunch of people in there during labor anyway. It's a very personal time and it's hard on your body and emotional. You don't want anything distracting you from business. Keep your support system (your man) with you and tell everyone else you'll see them when the baby arrives! 😉

I'm only having my baby daddy in the room. And to be honest it doesn't sound like your mom deserves to be in the delivery room. I think you should keep it you and your hubby

just him then if no one can leave there drama at the door for this baby they don't belong in the delivery room. just you and the father they will see the baby afterwards.
