Ladies,this is quite lengthy but a must read...So i asked my boyfriend how he felt about breastfeeding in public. he said "there is a time and place.if im in a restaurant and a lady pulls her tit out,imma b disgusted,but if she covers herself up and do it discreetly,ill b fine. what if i pull my **** out." i said " then that would b disgusting.there is no comparison.thats the same as if a female pulls her boobs out with no baby." i asked him about a female being in public half naked.he said "it depends on if she fine or not." " fine or not,its still wrong,how can u stand to see that but not a woman feeding her baby..so i asked him "if we were somewhere and were 10+mins away from the car and didnt have a bottle,would u let me feed kai in public?" "no,go to the bathroom"..."no one asks u to go to the bathroom to eat"....so he asked me "what if kai was 3yrs old and he seen a mom breastfeeding and seen her tit.he starts asking questions,what would u say"?.."i would tell him its a breast and thats how babies eat,you ate that way."..and i told him that i was upset deep down inside but i cant take it out on u cause i asked for ur opinion...he got mad and said he didnt want to talk about it anymore...people are going to b people.men and women are always going to be seen sexual and not for natural. because the world is based on sex and what the body can do to please man,its going to b seen as natural. the things that are natural,the things we were blessed by God with,is disgusting(besides weed)..no matter how much we speak on normalizing breastfeeding,the world is not going to change its opinion.it has already been installed in our heads that being half naked is perfectly normal and acceptable..i asked my mom and dad as well,they said that if they are covered thats fine.my dad seems to think that if they arent covered,they are doing it for attention...as a breastfeeding mom,people who hasnt or cant breast feed wont understand.like i told my boyfriend,a mom cares about the child while the father cares about the exposure of the mother. as much pain we go thru with our child,they are our number 1 priority,we will die for our kids.i love breastfeeding and my child comes first.

I think a mom breastfeeding is fine but cover up it's the same way if someone randomly pulled a boob out they need to cover that up you can't walk around naked so a boob shouldn't just be hanging out there cover it up breatfeeding or not you can breastfeed while baring cover up with a blanket

@chelsi, and thats the thing! everybody is tryin to say moms can breastfeed in public but no one is saying at least cover up..i think ppl are getting the wrong idea

see I think they should be able to breastfeed just cover your boob and the baby with a blanket

first off boobs aren't just "hanging out" when a kid is eating. it's not like you're flashing someone. and cover or not breastfeeding in public is legal. being nude in public is not. comparing the two is ridiculous because it's definitely not the same thing. no one should have to cover their kids face with a blanket so it can eat. you wouldn't put puts blanket over its face to do anything else so....? I find putting a blanket over a baby's face under any circumstance quite ignorant due to risk of suffocation.

the way a mother breast feeds in public is completely up to the mother. it is by no means unlawful to not cover. there sre actually laws in place to protect mothers who breastfeed in public.

I have a hard time breastfeeding and covering up my baby sweats allot and I feel as if he cant breath I carry swaddle blankets and Ive breast fed at chilis, mcdonalds, ross & so many other places and no ones ever gotten on to me for accident showing my breast while feeding my child God forbid some one to tell me not to feed my baby especially my sons dad ! Its natural and the best milk for a baby !

@nicemmcha2015, even tho being half naked in public is illegal,u see a girl with booty shorts on and cleavage showing with her nipples about to pop out,she doesnt get arrested..wanna know why? because pple would rather see that...my boobs are pretty big so my child doesnt cover them.i would have to pull my shirt down onto my boob to cover up..u dont exactly have to cover the child.some babies dont like to b covered.and like i said people outside of breastfeeding wont understand.

@kdcmommy26, nope they won't. I breastfed My daughter for 15 months. that's why people's ignorance about it pisses me off to no end. people who have such big opinions about it most likely haven't done it a day in their lives. other wise they'd understand the trials and struggles you go through. breast feeding and making a bottle are two different world's. I'm not bashing bottle feeding mothers. as long as they kid gets food I could careless how it's fed. but someone who hasn't done it won't get it.

@chelsi, its not against the law to feed in public.a mom can do whatever..as a lady,i would cover my boob...if i think about it.my baby feeds in like 2 minutes.i cant think about everything in that length of time lol.

@nicemmcha2015, ppl think that all babies use a bottle.no..there are some moms that choose to only breastfeed.its just sad that it came to this point where its debatable about where a child should eat

Omg!! I know what you mean! I fed my baby girl in the car one day when we went on a family date! I was so pissed. I'm feeding her in public from now on though. Covered up just for my own comfortably though only because I've never been comfortable with showing my breasts! Breastfeeding is a natural part of human existence. Morons have made it sexual!

There really shouldn't even be a damn issue when it comes to breastfeeding! It's "disgusting" when a child feeds but when a man "sucks" on them for personal his or her pleasure it's "ok" efffffff outta here! 🖕🏻
