when she starts throwing a fit I just let her be. she knows if she cries someone will go in there and baby her. not tonight. if she wants to throw a fit all night that's fine with me but she better get up in the morning when it's time for church. ugh you can tell she has NO discipline at her moms by the way she acts

So on Monday my daughter threw a fit and didn’t want to go to school, Tuesday she literally had a panic attack on the bus. She skipped yesterday because she couldn’t sleep that night. Well last night she went to sleep at 8:30 because we felt she was throwing fits because she was tired and not getting enough sleep. She woke up excited about school and the bus. But when the bus arrived she threw another fit. So I’m convinced it’s the bus she doesn’t like 🤦🏽 ♀ 🤦🏽 ♀ 🤦🏽 ♀
is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page
This is what happens when a littles sister doesn't listen and goes a bit bridezilla. She wants all her sisters to wear the same thing for her wedding in a few weeks. I told her "I can wear something as similar as I can make it, but being pregnant I can't wear the same exact thing. It just won't work". Then she settled on a denim shirt dress. Cute, but wouldn't work on me normally, let alone pregnant (I'm pretty tall). She said she'd just femme a bigger size to fit over the tummy. I told her the tummy would also make it even shorter. She wouldn't listen.

Have you guys thought of trying to talk to her mom, get something figured out so she's on a routine between the places? It has to be rough not only on you guys but little one, too. Seems household dynamics are entirely different and that's a lot on a developing toddler.

@ilyric, yeah and her mom is literally incompetent. we've talked to her so many times about having the same routine and she's like cadence won't listen to me blah blah blah.. I'm like YOU ARE HER MOTHER. SHE IS A CHILD. POP HER ASS AND MAKE HER LISTEN. I'M not going to negotiate with a toddler... I understand we need to have patience but her mom is so stupid. she's like all cadence does is throw fits and won't listen to me.. I'm like excuse me? how do you let a toddler run you? cadence comes back and doesn't listen throws fits at dinner and screams for junk food. she already has a cavity and we brush and floss her teeth everyday she doesn't even say candy here and her juice is watered down or 100% fruit juice. I'm getting so fed up I want to smack her mother in her head and tell her get her shit together. I don't have a job until apple bees opens here next week but her mom lives at home no job no license and no car. I can't stand her!

Then maybe you need to have her dad take action and get it to where she is only with you guys, I know it sounds harsh but things need to be done in her best interest and sound like being with mom isn't in her best interest.

@ilyric, we're working on it trust me. every week I build evidence against her. I can't wait to turn her around when we have her 24/7 . and hell no she's just getting worse. she was born a preemie and they're always gonna be tiny but if she lived with us she would be a lot bigger

All these posts that you post about her leave me a little worried in itself. If there is that much concern, why hasn't CPS been contacted? It wouldn't require you to build evidence and she'd be placed permanently with you guys as long as mom is seen entirely unfit or doesn't work things out on her end.
