Little man turned 1 yesterday! Can't believe it's been a year. :)

2 pregnancies in a row now I have managed to drop at or below my prepregnancy weight and I'm only 2 wks postpartum! :)

I'll be the first to admit I'm no super mom. Why does everyone around me seem to think I am? Handling an 11 mth old who doesn't talk or walk along with a 2 wk old is a struggle alone when their dad works from 6am-6pm and no one else to help. The anxiety is real in this case. Just thinking of tasks that need done during the day outside of the house create an anxiety attack the day before. It really doesn't help that my 11 mth old is very jealous and mean to the baby.

My Lil one will be 2 weeks old on Monday and I'm really mourning the abrupt end of my pregnancy. It ended 5 weeks too soon, being my last baby and knowing that 10 minutes before he was born, it was the last rounds of kicking I was going to feel. He's already over a week old and being premature and needing to be kept in the NICU, all of our first bonding moments were robbed from us and those are firsts I'll never get back. :'(

So I'm left pumping my milk until I can actually breastfeed my 1 wk old son, but since we don't have adequate freezer space I have to put it in the fridge which means it's good for 5 days. He was discharged from the hospital yesterday and got told formula only until Dr appt next week. Guess that means 11 mth old brother gets the bounty until then.

Kaulder is coming home! I'm on my way to get him :)

I'm laying here wanting to call the hospital to check on my son, my gut is turning because I so badly want to hear he's gained more weight and he can come home... I was told Monday that if he gained he'd be home yesterday but since they had to use a high cal formula to get him to gain the 2 ounces in 24 hrs, his Dr decided to give him regular formula yesterday for 24 hrs to see if he gains some more, even just an ounce. His nurses and I want my baby boy to be home. I don't know why I'm so nerv...
