I think the worst part about being a stay at home mom to an exclusively breastfed baby (no bottles or pacifiers) is the fact that I don't get to sleep when I'm tired. I don't have any freedom, any time to myself longer than going to the bathroom or if I'm lucky I get to shower alone instead of with the baby...My fiancé gets to sleep when he is tired and needs sleep, whereas I have no choice other than to stay up with her until she lets me sleep, because she needs me...and to top it off I have to be up to take care of my man's ass cuz he's like a rock when he sleeps and needs me to wake him up when the alarm goes off and help him get ready, this fool has the memory of Dory from Finding Nemo lol forgets where he puts all his stuff and I gotta find it for him...I just really wish I could sleep right now, especially as he snores beside me 😔😦😠😴😢😭😤😧

I realized it is a whole lot of commitment exclusively breastfeeding, no bottles at all. Baby won't be for more than an hour with no one else that's not you.

@bets, yes, completely right....it is hard, like you said I can't be away from her for more than an hour! Because she can become hungry at any moment and won't eat from a bottle....I love her more than anything and I wouldn't change this for the world, but sometimes I long for the independence I used to have....thanks for understanding

Oh boy @hellosweetie i don't think I ever put it in perspective like this. I'm really really not used to being tied down. If anybody is worth slowing down and taking it easy for, it's my children but you definitely gave me something to consider and prepare for. Whoa!

I completely understand. because my daughter is the same way at barely two weeks old she's already extremely attached. my husband dreads when I take off to the store and staying alone with her because she constantly needs me by her side. it's such a great connection and beautiful feeling, but it can be hard not being able to do anything at all anymore, because our baby practically owns us. But I'm sure one day we will look back and feel so proud. like we already are :)

@bets, absolutely 100% agree! I will miss these days despite how hard they are when she's older and the dreaded words, "no mommy, I do it!!!" come out of her tiny lil mouth.....

@najahlove I'm not sure if you already have nursed your older baby, but please don't be scared by this post lol....it's hard, REALLY hard, but it's a beautiful thing and completely worth it, just like the pain of childbirth is worth it!!! Despite all this I actually really want more babies, and I plan on having another all natural birth and exclusively breastfeeding the next one! It'll be a whole new challenge some day when I have to take care of my first born and the new one at the same time though!

@emteebee @supermom1104, I'm so glad I'm not alone in this, I got a lot more feedback on this post than I expected...just was in a deep thinking mood last night, didn't get to sleep until 4 or 5am I think....thank you all for understanding and being with me on this!

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Am I wrong to be upset? Last night I was running a fever, weak, tired, sore, my left boob feels like it got used as a punching bag. I asked my husband to call out of work today to help me with the kid so I could get some rest. He went to work. I texted him this morning. Part of me thinks I mean. The other part of me thinks I was fine for saying that because he should've stayed home with us.

Does anyone have any advice or been in this situation before? Long story short is I have to push my almost 3 year old in a stroller to get him to nap or sleep EVERYDAY. He doesn’t need the motion just the restraint because if not he’ll just get up and go. He never stops, he’s autistic and at this point I’m not sure what else to do. I’ve tried a weighted blanket and it helps him stay asleep but not get to sleep. Any suggestions would be amazing🙏🏼

At What Age Should a Child Make Their Own Breakfast?

Make your own breakfast! At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.

i finally let him do it I finally let DF throw away my foundations. He says I look better without it. He said he hates seeing me cover my face with make up when I can just wear mascara and eyeliner. He says it makes me look fake and he said he's not saying it to be mean, hes saying it because he cares. Im glad he's real with me. He says I have natural beauty. He says he doesn't like it when I dye my hair or wear make up because he loves my natural beauty. I know some girls feel as though that they need make up but they don't. Make up to me is just to do it for fun and sometimes when I feel insecure. Hes the only man that has made me feel beautiful without my hair straightened, without make up on and in my baggy clothes. I can burp in front of him, I can do weird things in front of him, etc. He has taught me so many things in the last (almost) 3 years and im so grateful for him. He taught me how to make pork chops and steaks, how to play some videogames, how to make white rice, how to budget, etc.
