Can you believe that someone told me that you should just give your kid away if you have postpartum depression.
If anything your babies help out even more well at least to me she did. Every time I felt down I would go to her & she would make me feel a lot better!!
@hellosweetie, i hope you get better and its good that her daddy understands
Thats good @ktwins188 because i would want my worst enemy to go through that
I'd smack who ever would tell me that. but I'm so greatful I didn't get depression. nothing but joy and happiness since my twins been born
Good for you, you're a great mom for admitting that and also getting through it, that's not easy! I have always struggled with anxiety and depression, for years before my baby and it seems worse a lot now but I'm not sure if it's because of PPD....but I love my baby to the moon and back, she is my little angel! And her daddy tries his best to be understanding and be there for me in my rough times....😍
That what i told her. Their is so much help out there but a lot of mom are afraid of saying anything because of idiots like her. And i know i had ppd with my first kid but never said anything because i felt like i was going to be judge the good thing is that my mom was a lot of help and I'm better now
WTF?? That's a horrible thing to say 😔 you still love your baby more than anything, even when you have PPD....some people really need to be more sensitive and understanding. Most moms don't have thoughts of hurting their babies with PPD, and if they do they should seek help, not just give their baby away! smh
I know but unless you have gone through it you know how it feels. @camilla.mae27 the only thing i told her was i hope you never go through it but if you do maybe you will change your mind. And then started talking on how messed up someone was to her relative because they told him to just jump off a bridge because he had depression. You are basically asking a mother the same thing
