I just got outta obgyn and they said I had to drink an orange glucose drink for my next visit. who else had to do this and what does it taste like!?

you have to drink it in a five minute time period so drink it fast it isn't as bad as it seems just tastes like soda with more sugar in it
I'm doing mine Feb 2 next time I go in. I got told don't eat, as well. mine is orange
I have to do it at my 26 week appointment too. it's just for gestational diabetes.
every momma has to drink it:) don't worry just to check your not diabetic, I got told to go on a empty stomach!

Everyone does. To make sure ur not diabetic. I didn't mind it, I chugged mine tho so I didn't have to deal with the taste! I recommend drinking as fast as u can.
It tastes like extremely sugary, flat orange soda. Every pregnant woman had to take the glucose test. Its miserable and you will probably feel like crap for the rest of the day and generally just out of it. But drink plenty of water to flush all that sugar out of your system, and be sure to eat lots of peotein after drinking it when you get home because it will help with the weakness and dizziness. You def want to pound water though!
I had it I think it depends on the person , I honestly felt like I was going to pass out 😩😔
I had to drink a fruit punch one and it wasn't too bad , it tasted just like fruit punch but after 30 minutes I felt really dizzy and faint

they told me it was going to be a regular check up but just with the drink and lab work. they told me earlier in my pregnancy that I would start be getting an ultrasound every month then when the time came then every week.....
