who else won't dye their hair because it can harm your unborn baby?? I really want to dye my hair but I won't bcuz my husband is so protective he says it's bad.. or I can't even go do my nails... I do em my self and when he isn't here.. cuz he start telling stuff "BABE THAT'S BAD WHY YOU DO IT"" BLAH BLAH BLAH.. but I am scared he might be right..
That's so sweet 💜 @aai1316 I'm sure you can dye your hair by the second trimester or late second trimester. Make sure to ask your doctor (:
That is true. If you can find a stylist that has organic dyes then no problem. Otherwise, your in your second trimester you can do highlights but not full head.
@claudiadiadia, ...thank you.. yes I don't think I will just wanted too see what you mommies thought about it...
I haven't done my nails or hair bc of chemicals. I get where your husband is coming from. It all comes down to if you're comfortable with it or not. It's not good for the baby, but the chances of it highly affecting something are probably slim. I don't like risking things but I'm sure you'll be fine if you do.
You can dye your hair. I won't because I've been growing out my natural hair color!
I use ammonia free...it doesn't harm the baby at all, just don't drink it lol 😄😂
You can dye your hair after the first trimester and painting your nails is fine too. Both just have to be done in a well ventilated room. I've heard it wasn't good to get nails professionally done though just because the tools they use may not be the cleanest.
I am pregnant with my 4th child and I have died my hair as well as gotten my nails done with all of them.
there is no proof that either are harmful to the baby.. if you are worried then just do it in a well ventilated room
The worst it can do is not take. I read that it does not actually harm baby. I didn't do it but not because I thought it would harm baby.
it's fine to dye your hair while you're pregnant. I did it throughout my entire pregnancy. it's also fine to do you nails, I did mine until I was 35 weeks.
@yumiyukai, thank you I sure will...
