Does anyone know of a credit card i could sign up for to start up credit? Other than a clothing store?

Merrick. Premier. Credit One. They might require you pay something first but they will build your credit as long as you do right by it. That's how we started off.

what I highly recommend is getting a "secure credit card" it will report to the credit bureau more often, but it's safer then a regular cc... what you do is you out down how much money you want your credit limit to be and it's usually a minimum of 500 then for about 3 years you use this card like a cc. the bank holds the money you put down and once you complete the agreed upon time you get that 500$ and you have better credit.. they also hold that money just incase you fall behind and can't catch up that way if you have to cancel the card the money to pay it is there

My bank won't let me cause I have no credit.

My husband had to get on his moms kholes card account in order to up his credit enough to get his own. So you might have to do something like that

And DONT just start applying to a bunch of cards. They check your credit and each credit check hurts your credit. Your best bet may be a certified bank card through your bank. You have to keep X amount of money in the account to cover what you spend. It's kinda like a checking account that that reports to credit agencies

Capital one has a card were you pay 100 and they give you 200 and then after 6 months they will raise your credit up to 500 . A family member did it that way and now she has Walmart credit card Best Buy and a bunch of other stores. She kept the capital. One for a year and made all the payments on time

Just start research. If you have no credit a lot of cards won't except you. Make sure you get one that doesn't have an annual fee.

I tried Capital One but I have 0 credit and I have to at least have some to sign up with them. @twinmommy2016
