Anyone else get weird phone calls regarding a credit card that they don’t even know about?! Then when I tell them I don’t have any credit cards they hang up 🤷🏽♀️
@mommiesaremagical14 older people are major targets. These scammers will call them and say "oh your son/ daughter is in trouble and needs your help. Go buy ten target gift cards and send me the numbers". I used to work at Kroger and would get emails all the time about that
On my old mommy app there was someone going around saying she needed a babysitter for her disabled son and she kept messaging people that didn't live anywhere near her saying that she would give them $500 upfront she just needed their Bank information. I don't know how many people fell for it but I know one woman did because she posted about it and this person took her money. That person also messaged me but thank God I knew better to fall for something like that. The simple fact alone that she was messaging people that live in other states to babysit her son was a red flag right away!!!
@leenie it's so stupid, I saw this one video a while back with people posing as the IRS and they ended up calling of all places a police station!!! So the cop stayed on the phone with him and was trying to ask him all kinds of questions which he has a cop nose need to be asked and answered and the cop kept messing with him and then eventually he told him that he was on the phone with the police station and the guy quickly hung up.
I had actual people calling at first until I let my screaming baby answer the phone. Now I get machines 🙄 I don't answer and then block the number.
@amberjacq, it had me scared for a minute I thought someone had put some stuff in my name smh
@mommiesaremagical14 yes exactly! My number has been put on so many dnc list!
They also called my husband about credit cards and we’ve never got credit cards lol 😂
My husband has been getting phone calls about a hotel lol he hasn’t been in a hotel they’ve been calling him for months and he always hangs up on them or yells at them to stop calling him that he hasn’t been in a hotel 😂😂 it’s normally always someone trying to get money or something, I’ve been getting called about a car warranty and I don’t even have a car lol 😂
@leenie I get the same thing!!! I've never even took out a student loan. And then they give you the option to be taking off their call list and then I just call you from another number. So you hit the no call list but again and then just call you from another number!!
Yep. They are trying to get your cc numbers I believe. I have been getting them and they tell me it's about my credit account. If they don't tell you what company or the last 4 digits (and even sometimes they make up 4 digits), then they are scammers
@jessy.q, wow I said you have the wrong person bye and then she hung up lol
@leenie, exactly smh this same number has been calling me for months and I answered the phone today but I won’t answer again
I get ones for student loans all the time. I don't have student loans so how can they lower my payments?
@bodybycheetos, yeah it was but the computer was like we been trying to reach you but I said you have the wrong person and it hung up
Is it a recording? I don't answer calls if I don't know the number. The majority of the time it's a scam. If I do answer I will not answer questions.
Has anyone signed up for the Carter’s credit card?
I want to know how the 25% off the first purchase on the account within 24 hours of opening the credit card works if you sign up online and don’t have a physical card to use.
Any good advice on first credit card for someone with no credit? I have no credit number at all. Who will give me one?
Applied for my first few credit cards (Target, JC Pennys, Khols). Any other credit card(s) i should apply for? I have no credit so i figured this is my next step. Plus i feel we can handle the payments.
Does anyone know of a credit card i could sign up for to start up credit? Other than a clothing store?
Bad Credit and a Charge Off
Help please ? has anyone ever successfully negotiated(with payment of course) with a credit card company to remove a charge off from your credit report? Is it even possible?
