On the left is sadly how my best friend puts her daughter in her car seat. On the right is how I put mine in her car seat. I kills me that she doesn't see how unsafe it is. Her child's straps aren't even on her shoulders!!

maybe explain why its so wrong. like the shoulder straps keep them held down into the seat and the chest clip keeps them from flying foward.
I get that, a lot of moms (especially younger and newer ones) take offense to being corrected too. but she needs to know how dangerous it is. just let her know you care about her and the well being of her baby, and that you'd be glad to show her the best way to do it, or good sites for helpful info (ie no big coats or costumes while in the car seat). hopefully shell see that you're honestly trying to help her out because you are!
@mylittleprincess, I was looking up infants buckled wrong in their car seat and I didn't see any as bad as this. I don't want her to get mad if I confront her.. I always just put her in it the right way..

definitely say something because that baby will get ejected from the car seat/car if she's buckled like that and they get hit. 🙈🙈🙈😢

Omg :'( there's a video going around right now that shows the dangers of straps too loose and jackets too puffy. I'd be sending it to her asap.
Girl yes tell me about it lol! I don't understand how people can be so lazy and half strap in there child knowing the dangers! I make sure my son is secured properly!
I wouldn't care less if a person got mad at me, at least you be be doing the right thing, she needs to know this isnt right
