Im 39 weeks and 3 days, yesterday my Dr stripped my membranes and now Im having contractions but Im first time pregnant and not sure if these are real contractions. Please Ladies I need help how do I know if its real ones???? How do they feel and how long do they last??

My sister had her membranes stripped at 9am and at 9pm that night she was in labor! It's a good possibility! Good luck!

Start timing them when they start end and how long they last! Also if they are painful most likely they are. Feels like periods cramps at first and then they get way worse !

Mine were so painful I could hardly walk, or stand, or lay down
