How many mamas sleep with their babies on their chest? My baby boy only sleeps well on my chest and I feel he is most safe there besides the whole SIDS.

What have anyone used to get their baby to poop around 2 months. I've tried gas drops, gripe water, water and thermometer.

My son is almost 8 weeks old. And the past couple days he has been gassy but only poops once a day and yesterday was just a little. Every time he even goes to push out a fart it hurts him. He cries and strains so bad. I called the doctor and they say it's normal but give him 2-4oz a day. Just I hate seeing my boy so upset. Any ideas or anyone experience this?
