He said 70% girl then he said 70% boy and then he said he wasn't really sure and then marked the ultrasound pic as a boy.. So my husband says boy and told everyone boy and I've just come to say boy because that's the best I have to go on..@annabellesmommy and they told me I wouldn't get another ultrasound...

no I haven't . either his penis is small or her umbilical cord is in between the legs. they said it could be a girl but couldn't tell the first ultrasound

that's so strange?! they should have given you a gender US at 20 weeks. and then another ultrasound at 30 to measure everything again!

why wont you get another ultrasound that sounds dumb you should be able to if you want another, im 22w 6d and i have another one for my 24 week appointment I was told boy at 19w 6d

look for a 3d/4d sono place where you are from they will tell ya.... its private pay but we'll worth it!

Idk my doctors main nurse said that was the last ultrasound I would get unless something is wrong. I have gestational diabetes but barely and I've completely taken care of it with diet and I've barely changed diet so that's not really going to be a big issue

I'm really not sure !! I would def look into a place you can go to and pay for your own ultrasound!!

@drtyrodzwife, I had a 4d ultrasound at the 19 week appointment... And my husband really wants a boy so he's just gonna say we will just wait until the baby is born to find out for sure because he's so sure it was a boy. And I was so sure it was a girl. And I know I shouldn't put any faith into it but I have had every single wives tale I could fine looked at by me and several others and every single one said girl.

id tell them their ultrasound person couldnt confirm boy or girl and u want another ultrasound so as to be able to know i wouldnt b paying out of pocket for something that is their job in the first place but thats just me i also know that i wanna b able to save money where i can they get paid good money foe their jobs and as such should do their job accordingly

It's just everyone is buying boy stuff and I would feel so so so much better about it if we knew for sure. I wouldnt put pink on my daughter im not a pink person..

And it would be so much easier to bond with my baby if I knew whether I can call it Brantley or Madalyn instead of asking the baby every time I talk to him/her what the baby's name is -.-

that's crazy that your doc wouldn't push for another...my doctor does one at first appt, again at 10-13 wks, gender scan at 20 weeks and then an optional one at 30wks for $50...my next appt I will be 27 weeks and he told me about the additional one and saw the look on my face when I said I wasn't sure I could afford it and then he said since I was measuring a head he was gonna order it which means I don't pay the $50 my insurance will and he winked...I know I dont need it bc I had been measuring small until that appt and he was just helping me out. I hope you're able to get a clear answer soon :)

I had the first ultrasound and the one that checks for Down's syndrome and then the 20 week one and when I called to make the 20 week one for 19 weeks they said they wanted to wait til 20 weeks to be sure about it but that if they don't get the gender then there will not be another ultrasound...@kaylalee201

At 19 weeks the ultrasound tech wasn't sure if it was boy or girl. She said 'looks like'. I go back at 30 weeks (23 weeks right now) and I'm scheduling one to get a confirmation of gender. See if you can schedule one straight through the hospital lab. I had to with my first

well i would seek another office that accepts your insurance explain u want another ultrasound to find out the sex and see if they will do it for u the other option is to get a 3d/4d ultrasound as for the doctor and tech id find out who u can make a complaint to also would recommend you to make a few neutral color cloths purchases just in case that way if its a boy no harm if its a girl only people its going to bite in the a$$ is your hubby and family members by not backing you up to find out for sure
