So on my last ultrasound they had told me I was having a boy, then when I went in to the L&D as an emergency they did an ultrasound to check if the baby was okay and the ultrasound guy was being really nice and said " do you guys know what ya' are having" I said yes and he said let's check and he said looks like you're having a girl .. So I told my dr and she said she would schedule an ultrasound and she hasn't done it, I just don't want to go in labor and find out I'm having a girl and not a boy because we'll have baby boy clothes and everything else for my baby boy :(
What should I do ? I have my next appointment on the 15th of June
@amber.s95, that's what I'm saying :( and like I've only had 2 ultrasounds done through out all my pregnancy
Thats stupid. How are you supposed to get ready for your baby in only like 9 weeks?
@amber.s95, my husband and I have been insisting and she said she can't until I'm 31 weeks
I would be insisting that your doctor gives you another ultrasound for another opinion.
@catehughes, I've only had 2 ultrasounds and I get checked up every 2 weeks
do you have a picture of the gender part of the ultrasound? usually its pretty obvious if its a boy lol it was obvious with my son
Lol two months might as well be two years! I see my doctor twice a week Monday and Thursday and I get at least one ultrasound a week. At the very end you get a lot of check ups. Just casually ask for a check on the sex when you're in the ultrasound. I've asked three or four times to make sure. They all laugh and check and reassure me. After 36 / 37 weeks it's ultrasound city while they're preparing a plan for when you're ready to pop. Two months is sooo much time...I only have a week left till we are going to induce...it feels like walking through quicksand.
When I found out I was having a girl, they checked her ovaries.. they should have done that on your first one but obviously boy parts.
@phasion, my baby shower is in 25 days :( @harata87 was it accurate ? @catehughes I have two months :( lol
Uhm...you have plenty of time to find out 100%. Just wait for more ultrasounds or buy neutral colored clothes till they're born.
I had an elective gender scan done at 16 weeks and it was only $65.00 !
@bstegmaier, my husband and I looked in to it but it was really expensive :( @eskawho I'm going to have to look for a place that does them here and have to check how much the charge
I was 24 weeks I believe and it was like 2 weeks after .. @mrsalston
there's also the option of a blood test to determine sex. I'm not sure if your insurance will cover it though. but it can't hurt to ask!
you could always go to a private place that dose 3d/4D ultrasounds for the gender...I think just to check gender is not to expensive...at least at the place I went too.
@flower_princess, 😳😳😳 see this is an example of what I'm talking about... How many weeks was you when you had the ultrasound done? And how many weeks was you when the guy said girl??
Okay so the ultrasound tech told us he wasn't sure what the gender of our baby is.. At first he said girl then he said boy then he said to keep both names handy...does anyone have ultrasound pics where they were told one gender and the baby was born with the other gender???
This girl on my fb is 8 weeks pregnant with her first child and she said she felt the baby 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️people these days 😂😂😂

So I had an elective ultrasound a few weeks ago and was told I was having a boy but my scan today they said girl! Not really sure what to tell my husband!
So I found out my gender at 14 weeks threw ultrasound and I told my doctor at today’s visit she told me now I don’t know if she was messing with me or not but she check for Down syndrome and she told me the baby gender will come back and it could possible say boy instead of girl...? She really confused me lol
Ladies I think the whole 'heartburn means the baby will have tons of hair' thing is a myth. based on my ultrasound I just had, unless she is blond and it just didn't show up on the ultrasound, my baby girls gonna be bald. 😂😂😂 headbands, ftw!!
Ive had 3 but only because 2 were in the ER otherwise I would have only had 1.
