So upset 😔 baby had the umbilical cord in between it's legs and up it's back, so gender was not visible. Not only that but the person who did the ultrasound told us NOTHING. He didn't show us the screen. He didn't tell us how far along the baby was measuring and he didn't tell us if he saw anything. NOTHING. Not a word left his mouth while we were there. The room was silent the entire time.

@b3autifulm3ss they can't really get sued if they're wrong. They tell you it's not 100% sure it's correct. And if they think something is wrong with the baby they'll call the doctor right then and there for the doctor to verify.

@nessairieray, they give us a free 3D one here but the doctor said the tech won't tell us or look at the gender. That they're only trained to take a profile and picture of the face 😒😒

It's like a business. They sell baby stuff and they do ultrasounds to see what your having let me see if I can find one close to you. I live in Texas. So it might be a Texas thing I don't know lol.

That is ridiculous I've never heard that before. I wouldn't in no way in hell go to an ultrasound and have them not tell me anything. I mean it's her baby he should've at least her see the sonogram @b3autifulm3ss,

There all different names. The one around here is called sneak peak. That's where one of my friends went she was having twins and they told her what gender they were and the place was correct.
Around where I live there's these places that do ultra sounds to find out the gender there super cheap here. I would go there. I couldn't wait another 4 weeks.

@b3autifulm3ss, no, here they are allowed to.. This guy just didn't want to I guess. He was very unprofessional and wasn't helpful at all. Yes I understand that they aren't required to but if you ask and tell them u want to know, they will tell u. That's what we did, and what our doctor told us to do.
@alimtz0510 @nessairieray just incase you were wondering, they arent required to say anything to you. Depending on policies, some places they CANNOT say anything about the baby PERIOD. They can lose their jobs. Also, the reason he didnt say anything IS because he was a student, you should have requested NO STUDENTS in your records.
My baby did the same thing! But she sent me to the hospital because she couldn't get any measurements because he wouldn't stop moving! I was a nervous wreck! Because she wrote stat on the paper so thought something was wrong..

Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. It's so sad. I invited my daughter's father to the ultrasound today. He showed up. He didn't even want to sit next to me. He didn't acknowledge me in the waiting room.
