Gm ladies. I need some advice. I'm 5 months pregnant. I'm currently living with my aunt. She only charges me $400 a month. After speaking with her yesterday, she thinks it's a good idea that I continue to stay with her until I have my baby. My boyfriend, however, wants to get our own space. He lives with his younger brother. We have been saving up to get an apt or rent a house. My aunt says that we should buy a house if I decide to move out. I know that my aunt will be a big help with the baby. This is my first child. But I do want to share this experience with my bf. What would you do??? Why??

I agree with @autumn on this one! if he really wants to be a part of this, you might be disrespecting him to choose a different option, which could effect his relationship with you or worse your child later!

If the father really wants to be a part of this, wouldn't it be better to start off your family with the three of you? Living with your aunt may be the easier option, but having the father around as much as possible and letting him live with his own baby seems like the better one. Do what feels right, but always remember the fathers a part of this too :) and you're lucky that he wants to be! It seems like a lot of women wouldn't be able to say the same. Hope it all works out for you!

I had myself a nice little 1bdrm apartment in GA I paid $500. Loved it. It just depends on what you want, help with the baby is awesome but having your own place also gives you more privacy & of course the help of the daddy. Either way it's what you feel is best for you and baby 😊

I agree with @kaygrig living with some can be difficult and having a new baby is a lot of work and having a woman there would be helpful. The chaos of a newborn may put a strain on your relationship. He can still be involved may you should spend nights with him and the baby to test things out

Living with someone is ALOT of work. It's a wonderful experience but whew! If your aunt is willing to let you stay then I'd stay.

My friend moved to Atlanta so finding a place close to what you're already paying may not be hard, but if your aunt is willing to help and comfortable there that's where I would stay. The first year is so hard especially if you're doing it alone. Not saying your bf won't help but living together and totally different than an occasional night together.

Do what ever your heart desires, but yes as what @ktwins188 says you can definitely get your own apt around 500 a month. So you do have that option. Bet wishes to you! 😊

All the money you've been saving to move out is going to be spent on your baby I think you should wait a little till after the baby comes and see what your money looks like then
Shay·
$400.00 is a steal, idk where u live but here in NY you can't find anything under $1,200.
Shay·
can he stay over ?
