Mommies who had a emergency C Section, how long after you had your c section did you wait to start back driving? My discharge papers say to wait 4 to 6 weeks but that's way too long & also it says don't walk up or down stairs for 4 to 6 weeks but I have an upstairs apartment so I've been staying at my MIL house because of the stairs she's driving me crazy & I just want to go home, I'm 11 days post partum but I just got out the hospital Tuesday any advice ladies????

I honestly did what I could handle. I had sex 3 days after I got discharged. stairs everyday because I had to. you do what your body can handle. I would try it once and if it hurts to much wait a few days and try again
Don't push yourself! You just had a major surgery. Take the time to heal. Try to walk around a little more. And if you really wanna go home have someone else carry the baby and tackle the stairs slowly
my doctor said at my 2 week visit that as long as I'm not drinking Tylenol 3 or narco I can drive so I did because I had to pick up kids from school.
