I had the whooping cough one as I knew that if my baby had got whooping cough then I would never forgive myself! However this flu jab I didn't even hear nothing about when I was pregnant! So didn't have that lol xx

@123tommyanddorismew, I have looked at it and as well at others that shows the dangers of this vaccine on mother and baby, that's why iam confused .

id urge you to look on youtube at the video of a baby with whooping caugh

I'd probably get the whooping cough :3 I don't catch things like flu(very strong immune system) I've only ever been sick once in my life :) x

I had whooping cough but I didn't have the flu... personal preference and opinion, I didn't feel at all unwell having the whooping cough jab, sore arm for a day or so and that was it x

I've had flu jab, and haveing whooping cough tomorrow, I was against it until I started reading more into it, it's made me feel a bit shitty but a lot better than I would feel if I caught flu and whooping cough,

Had the flu and will have whooping cough it protects the baby after its born. I know someone who caught flu and the baby was really ill. If you have ad versions to medication then maybe steer clear otherwise I'd definitely consider it x

If it was a bad idea giving it to pregnant woman...why would they give them out? I'm having both of them tomorrow

Caught it in hospital, apparently whooping cough cases are on the rise. It's up to individual women but that swayed me to get it. I had an UTI and the antibiotics prescribed said not for pregnant women, I called the hospital before taking any and that's when midwife explained about medicines not being tested on pregnant women. Again, I researched the bacteria that caused the UTI and read that it could cause premature labour etc so took the tablets. Though now I have SPD and they prescribed cocodomol, I am just dealing with the pain rather than resorting to the medication as I feel little bubba has had enough and only 25 days to go but hey, who's counting ;)

I had both in my last pregnancy ... And I was fine , the positives out weight any negatives as I saw first hand how poorly a baby was due to cough related illness in its first three months and it wasn't nice x

If you type boostrix vaccine in pregnancy you will find many contradictory opinions about it, they are mostly concerned about the harm and defects that can happen to the unborn babies, it's given in the UK since OCT 2012 so it's really not proven to be safe in this short time I guess

I have read many articles in french from experts and here is as well in English http://www.drugs.com/boostrix.html It's only in UK that it's given to pregnant women and maybe USA

I had both and will again. flu can be fatal in pregnant women. I know somebody who caught flu, turned into pneumonia, she almost died. They were preparing to deliver her baby at only 20 something weeks because they didn't think the mum was going to make it. They aren't live vaccines so aren't dangerous

@may23, my midwife told me that everything comes with a warning about medications due to it being unethical to test on pregnant women. I have had both whooping cough and flu jab. Friend of mine had twins, she didn't have the whooping cough and both babies caught whooping cough, they are in a critical but stable condition in hospital :/

honestly id probably look into it and then decide they're not mandatory for you to have @may23 xx
