When i was pregnant with my now 1 year old i never leaked or anything nor after when i had her (c section) i wanted to breast feed with her but my milk took a while to come out but i want to breast feed with my daughter im pregnant with now but i still see no signs of my milk coming any ideas on how to help them start

join Facebook groups to. there's "milky mommas" and "breastfeeding the struggles we've overcome" I gotten a lot of information from them both. I was not successful with my first bc I doubted my body and thought I was not producing enough. turns out I actually was.

I also read that its harder for mothers who had a c section to breast feed because of all the medication but also read you can talk to your doctor an they can give you a lesser dosage

I got to breast feed my daughter a couple times at the hospital but the nurses would give her formula an when i tried to feed her she wouldn't be hungry so i just gave into feeding her formula but i dont want to do that with this pregnacy i really really want to breast feed!

yes keep baby at breast!! my milk came in after 2 days. skin to skin will help after she's here (nurse her that way when you can!) lactation cookies/brownies/smoothies, water water water. anything with electrolytes will help keep you hydrated (Gatorade, smart water, coconut water)

And thank you i took my daughter off her bottle so im trying to keep bottles away from her haha
Babies get colostrum until your milk comes in which is more than enough for them because their stomachs are literally the size of a pea. My milk came in today and I had my son on Tuesday. I think it came in so fast because I nursed my daughter last time and I just started leaking today because I have actual milk.

my milk didn't come in with my first for a few days, but they said keep her on it bec the colostrum. this time, I'm still not leaking and I don't think I will until baby gets here. maybe just take time but keep at it when you do. ... your body will know what to do

Quick question to breast feeding mum i would like to breast feed my baby when she comes as I’ve never really breast fed my other 2, is it uncomfortable also how is pumping out milk????? For bottle feeds is the pump uncomfortable... I would normally just breast feed and not pump when home but I do drive so when I’m out and can’t stop I’ll have to use a bottle...I remember trying to breast feed my youngest and I keeped getting milk ducts why was that??? I think that’s why I gave up as I was scared lol
My breast are heavy and full with milk but when I squeeze nothing comes out and when I try to pump nothing is pumped into the breast pump its like I have milk but its stuck and wont come out...any tips or help on this.. i really would like to breastfeed my daughter....
opinions about breast feeding while pregnant. the receptionist at my OB told me while making my appointment to start getting her off of the boob, because breast feeding causes your uterus to contract and can cause a miscarriage or preterm labor. any ladies breast feed your LO while pregnant and should I believe the receptionist?? my baby just turned 3 months on the 23rd .I give her breast and formula sometimes. any advice is appreciated👍
so my husband wants to feed are baby but the thing is that I will be breastfeeding so idk how it would work. he was thinking that when he wants to feed him he would give him formula but I just want my baby to have breast milk. so then he said why don't you pump your milk out and I'll feed it to him and i thought that would be the best thing but then I'm scared that my baby will get use to the bottle. I need help idk what to do because my husband really wants to feed him :/ and we need to come up with something before are baby is here. can anyone help??
