For moms who breastfed and are giving formula now... Did ur little one have tummy problems(gassy)??shes been on formula 5days(similac sensitive)? Idk if i should call her dr to switch formula or she needs a bit time to get used to it?? Orr??
What's a good formula for baby's that are constipated? My daughter is on soy and she screams every time she poops 😭 I'm currently substituting formula when breastmilk isn't enough
My baby is almost two weeks old. She’s drinking 2oz of formula and she finishes the bottles. But her grandma over feed her and sometimes gives her two bottle of formula. Usually how much can she drink since she’s still two little..?
OT. WIC and formula help please We recieve WIC, and right now im breastfeeding, but Aleeyah has been refusing the breast for a week now. I didn't supplement for a couple of days thinking it was just a phase.. but those 2 days she nursed like twice and then only had solid food. so I started supplementing with formula. she gets 3-4 feedings from the breast and 3-4 of formula.
Of all the formula we’ve tried (every sensitive, gentle AND hypoallergenic formula) and she likes Enfamil Infant. The most basic standard formula. I can not deal😂🤦🏽 ♀ Fingers crossed she isn’t just messing with me today lol
So my daughter was on Similac Advanced.. But was switched to Sensitive.. Well its been over 2 weeks and they sent over something to WIC to have it changed on my checks. I haven't gone to WIC yet.. But now I think this formula is making her constipated.. She hasn't been popping much. And when she does she has a really hard time. Question is... Can it be the formula causing the constipation??

@kjsimon, yeah i know.. Bt its so bad.. And ive tried gas drops,gripe water..colic calm.. I mean evrything.. I understand she will be gassy and all bt every night frm 1/2am - 7/8am n its bad😔

when you breastfeed that happens and they poop a lot when you do that... with formula it slows down a bit.. the gassy part is just there way of re-leaving all the food they ate.. @emiliasmommy1

@breloya, my doc told to try gerber good start gentle or similac sensitive soo i stated with the similac.. Bt idk anymore i feel so bad. N yes that sounds just like my daughter as well.. Have u asked ur dr why its only at night?

@kjsimon, my daughter was w my breastmilk it got soo bad so i stopped bf because of it.. And now on formula its a bit better but still bad😔 bt ill have to wait the 2weeks n see if it continues n if its still bad ill have to see if i should switch...

That sounds just like my daughter. She is good all day and then at around 2 am, she'll get up and scream and cry and be gassy all night until around 8 or 9 am. Her doc is who gave me the gerber to try, but it didn't work.

He is still gassy but he was like that before too.. I have my son on enfamil formula.. @emiliasmommy1

@breloya, my daughter is fine during day.. Bt its frm like 1am-7am tht her tummy bothers her..😔 and she jst started formula.. So i guess it can take up to two weeks for babies to get used to a formula.. So i guess i have to wait this week and see next week n if it continues being this bad ill have to call her dr...

My daughter has been gassy ever since switching to formula. 😩 I've tried enfamil newborn first, then gerber soothe, now enfamil gentlease. My next one to try if this fails, is a soy one.

My son was breastfeed for 3 weeks and than I went to formula, he is gassy and he only poops like once a day. you may have to get her use to it for like a week and if she is still doing all that than maybe call the doctor..
