@deennise1696, that is so crazy and she’s only 2 weeks oh hell your bf need to step up and say something or next time you go to her appt make the doctor give you the sheet of what’s the right feeding to give her so she can see it for her self

@deennise1696 There doesn't have to be tension and you can have your boyfriend tell her so. Just because you live under someone's roof doesn't mean they can do as they please. It's not about being mean. If you have concern for your child then just tell your boyfriend. I would rather your mother not overstep her boundaries when it comes to the welfare of our baby. It is a privilege, not a right

@beebaby, I know and I do. The one that over feeds her every hour or so is her grandma😐😒 I give her one bottle of formula every three hours. Right now i don’t know if I should wake her up to feed her or just wait until she wakes up

My mother has never fed my child and she wont if she doesn't respect my wishes. Your the parent so refuse her to keep your child if she doesn't follow your rules

if you give 3 and 4ounces now you will be giving the baby 2 bottle by the time they are 6 months old

She shouldn't need that much rigjt now at 2 weeks. 2 ounces is fine. You just need to pace fed the baby

@fabmom, 8 is here usual feeding time but I don’t want to wake her up because of how much she ate already

@fabmom, I did snap one day and she has backed away. But last night around 4:40am I feed her a bottle of formula and she stood away. Around 5 almost 6 she started crying because she was getting sleepy and needed to be changed. His mom walk and he tells her to take her so we can sleep. She needs up giving the baby two more bottles of formula. That’s like what almost 5 or 6 oz within two hours.

Yeah. You want to express to grandma how to feed her properly. If you dont want her eating that much then you gotta tell her.

@beebaby, her grandma tends to over feed her and that’s what I’m kinda worried about. I feed her every three hours and she tends to do it every hour an a half

Here stomach is being stretched and she is being force fed instead of pace fed
