The doctor just called... I got scared and thought I failed my glucose.... Come to find out my Iron is Low and I need meds.... Anyone else have low iron???
Was told today that my iron is low and I'm underweight. 😕
Low iron ??? I wish there was a way of just putting all the iron you need back in your body with out the stupid pills!! You know like a blood transfusion why can't they do an iron one!!! ?????????
So I have low iron any tips on how to boost my iron levels !
**Low Iron Preggies!!!** I'm curious as to what your symptoms are with the low iron? Today off and on I've felt dizzy, nauseated, sweats and I don't know how to explain it but my head just kinda feels "funny". I end up having a panic attack when this happens. 😢 I just got put on Iron medication 3x a day this week so not sure if its had time to really into my system But I want reassurance I guess to make sure this is normal. 💚💚
Another thing to add to list of problems... My iron levels are dangerously low so now on an iron drip

@fallwithautumn, Awww that's a lot @fallwithautumn I really don't eat a lot of red meats ... I Mainly eat chicken and turkey so it makes since my Iron being low.... So I guess it's time for me to break out a steak or beef burger lol.....

That's exactly what happened to me!! I freaked out as soon as I saw my OB's number flash across my screen. I'm a vegetarian going on 8 years so when they told me I had to take an over the counter iron supplement I wasn't surprised. I can't give blood because of my iron deficiency and I also have a protein deficiency on top of that. Iron supplements will constipated you just so you are aware.

Yup I get Iron through IV treatments twice a week, plus take three iron and three calcium supplements a day. Then they put me on a high protein high iron diet.

I do and they told me when my glucose test came back now I take some regular iron pills from cvs 2x a day
