Thoughts on dying hair during pregnancy ? Everyone said it's fine when your out of your first trimester and I'm in my third and considering dying it ! What should I do ? The doctor said it's fine now if I do but I still like other opinions :)

I wanted to dye my hair so badly during my pregnancy, but I waited. I'm 9days ppd and still haven't dyed it yet. I just don't like chemicals and try to stay away from them as much as possible. Lush Cosmetics has an awesome henna dye that works wonders and it's healthy for your hair too.

I bleached and dyed my hair, I just told my stylist I was pregnant and she used something with less harsh chemicals! If you got the ok from your doc you're totally fine

I think bleaching your hair is okay. I think dying it is safe

I was very nervous about doing it but I've died my hair twice and my baby is fine. My doctor said it was fine and very little, if any, chemicals pass through the placenta and with the baby's organs being fully developed that it's perfectly fine.

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Transgender children So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do u think the parents are behind this? Idk because I haven't met the parents or children. I just think at 5 it's very young for children to really understand. What do u ladies think?

Locking your doors We are having a discussion on one of my birth boards from my older kids about locking doors and security alarms. There are many of us (me included) who do not lock our doors at home (I actually don't even have a deadbolt on my house and we don't lock it when we leave either), and others who think that's totally weird. So what do you do? Do you lock your doors? Do you think it's weird that people don't?
