if the car seat is like new. check the expiration date and ask to see if its ever been involved in an accident.

Be sure it hasn't been involved in any car accidents (they are only built to safely withstand one) and check the expiration date (all car seats have them)

It's fine as long as you make sure there haven't been any recalls on it and that its in full working condition
