I know it's hard to tell but this spot is really red on him and it's dried out...idk why...i did put lotion on it. Does anyone have any ideas?
Oil works better. It actually all penetrates into the skin where most of the lotion that is applied just sits on the skin
@birdy123, well she's been dragging her butt but I haven't noticed any bald spots. What will they give him?
Ya the way to tell is if your dog has a bold patch somewhere on him or he is dragging his bottom... And my sister got that but don't be worried it's not really a worm lol they call it that cause it's a ring look on google don't frighten your self they baby will be fine I'm sure 😊🙏 just docs office visit soon 😊
@birdy123, @mizzmeganmae definitely! I'd rather know for sure than it get worse.
@ftm15, I would call the doctor and go in just in case it is ring worm, nothing wrong with getting the doctors opinion he will know for sure. But it sounds like the perfect spot for eczema. Hopefully that's what it is!
@jojo2292, how would you tell if it's a ring worm? and @mizzmeganmae it's on the front right above his elbow I hope that's all it is.
@ftm15, it can be in more than one spot, a lot of the times it will pop up on the back of the arms, knees, back of knees, behind the ears, or in the groin area. But it can just be one spot. My son has it behind his ears and he's 8 and nowhere else. Every baby is different 😊
It can be, but it could just start in one spot and spread. If it looks like a ring though, it could be ringworm, but it sounds like eczema. I think they have oatmeal bath and body wash stuff for babies and lotion.
@ftm15 looks to me like it could be eczema, or possibly dry skin but most likely eczema. They say Aveeno lotion is really good for that.
Just an ointment and he should be good 😊
