@emilyyy96___, she is trying to screw you. you can file. you just cant claim head of household. plus she cant file your daughter if she doesnt know her social security number. so if you have you w2s I would. go ahead and file. before she tries to claim you and if ahe does file you. you can report it to the irs

file your taxes let her claim you if she wants to but report her to the irs or make it so that nobody else can claim you and she cant file your daughter..you are the mother and have her social and info so as she doesnt get a hold of that she cant file.

I'm still waiting on one of my w2's to come in then I'll be going through turbo tax. I called H&r block because that's where my mom does her taxes and they said I should claim myself and my daughter but If my mom claims us before I file then I won't get a refund then I'm gonna end up freaking the fuck out and not talking to my mom.

k my bfs mom wanted to claim my baby and she was like oh ill give you guys a little bit of money i said FUCK NO...me and my bf went last night and go his done...I dont work. so he claimed both of us....we are getting over $5,000 back and only $800 of it was from him working...the rest was from my daughter and some of me...mostly her...my bfs mom went to the tax place and she tried too and my bf was gonna let her. i did not agree. she knew she would get that much and he didnt even mention it to him. so imagine our supsrise last night when we found out how much we are getting....my point is do not let her. what so ever. people will screw over family for money....clearly.

@pruisbianca, yeah my mom didn't buy my daughters anything too expensive. just a couple outfits. sometimes she'll buy like a box of diapers that I didn't ask for. she tries to make it look like I depend on her and it's so annoying. she claims Me on her food stamps then doesn't even let me eat the food and she uses my WIC every month too. so I buy it all myself. and my daughters almond milk is $5 for a half gallon and she goes through one every 2 days and WIC doesn't cover it. she has anaphylaxis so alot of her foods are bought special
