my mom did that when i was 17 and i didnt even live with her i lived on my own.. worst part was she didnt even own up to the fact that she claimed me on her taxes. . and there i was 17 on my own just trying to make it some people will do anything for money.. instead of work hard themselves and get an honest check smh file your taxes before she files thats all it amounts to.. if she attempts to claim u after you have already filed thats her whos going to answer to uncle sam

@pruisbianca, yeah my mom didn't buy my daughters anything too expensive. just a couple outfits. sometimes she'll buy like a box of diapers that I didn't ask for. she tries to make it look like I depend on her and it's so annoying. she claims Me on her food stamps then doesn't even let me eat the food and she uses my WIC every month too. so I buy it all myself. and my daughters almond milk is $5 for a half gallon and she goes through one every 2 days and WIC doesn't cover it. she has anaphylaxis so alot of her foods are bought special

file your taxes let her claim you if she wants to but report her to the irs or make it so that nobody else can claim you and she cant file your daughter..you are the mother and have her social and info so as she doesnt get a hold of that she cant file.
