Baby's first time at the park. She is only 4 1/2 months so had to hold her myself but she smiled the whole time and squealed when I swayed the swing. Was so cute 😍

So as my tiny monsters reflux isn't improving the Dr and health visitor have suggested early weaning. I personally feel she is showing no signs at all of being ready to wean, can't sit unaided, still has very prominent sucking reflex, doesn't show interest in my food and still enjoys her bottles. Has anyone been in a similar situation that chose not to wean early? She has had varying different dose combinations of both gaviscon and ranitidine.

My baby girl is 13 weeks old and for the passed couple of weeks her cheeks have been red, she has been sooking her hands, chewing her gums and being fussy during feeds. Is it likely she is teething this early or am I imagining it?

So I have a very clingy, colicky and refluxy baby that usually rarely settles or just don't settle at all. I was advised by some other groups to baby carry. I hummed and hayed because good carriers cost a lot but then I found a lady selling one for £50 and thought I would risk it. This is our first day trying it but after 5 minutes of fussing and both of us trying to get comfy she has fallen asleep after 2 minutes of me walking about the house. I can't believe it.

So I have only just gotten to the bottom of my grumpy baby and it turns out that she has colic and reflux. For the reflux she is on gaviscon and ranitidine from the Dr but do any of you more experienced mums have some tips for the colic. We have 3/4 hours of hell at the same time every night and we have tried literally everything we can think of.

Going to have to stop the habit of snuggling on the sofa but as she really wouldn't settle who I am to deprive her of a proper nap 🙊😉

Anyone else find health visitors really patronising. I feel like my one thinks cause me and my partner are young (24) we know nothing. She wasn't particularly friendly either.

As a word of warning to all new mums and mums to be please do not under any circumstances ignore post partum shakes. I had shakes from day 3 up till day 7. On day 7 I caved in called the hospital and was admitted with severe septicaemia. I was told if I had left it one more day I might have died. My temperature on admission was 41.3 a degree away from seizures. I was told each time my midwife visited it was hormones from my milk coming in making me shake and that it was nothing to worry about. I...

The passed two nights with our newborn have been great but last night from around 10 until about 4 in the morning she just cried no matter what we done. Winding, changing, feeding, rocking, dummy (spat it out) and even read to her at one point 😂 is this normal? She is 5 days old.

Lily Rachel Reid born at 8:06 this morning. I was in labour for 3 days and ended up with an emergency forceps delivery. I managed to dilate up 9cm with just gas and air and a tens machine before caving in and getting an epidural (good job I did for the forceps) I know people say you forget the pain the minute you see them but honestly I think I am still in shock.
