What worked for you and your kids with "sleep training"??

I need advice on helping my son sleep through the night.
He is 11 months.. he is a light sleeper and very busy busy full of energy and Curiosity so much he doesn't stop to eat or nap.
It's been a hard year with my 8 year old and son being a single mom (divorce was just finalized this month)
It throws the kids off when their dad comes to see them and he has only come by 4-5 times this year.

It's 1:50 AM I am so stressed because I can't sleep and having a lot of trouble with my newly 2 week ex husband..... my daughter 8 1/2 not doing chores when she is being asked.... my 11 month old, teething and sleep issues.... my body and my energy...
