Once you start introducing juice in your babies diet how much would you say they should still have as far as milk?
he is 12 weeks old and has not been able to poop very well cries when he passes gas really cries a ton and overly fussy... he acts in pain
Dr. thinks he's constipated we are trying to ounces pear juice and or apple juice twice a day!
For four days he hasn't been nursing well
Sometimes I believe us moms know more when we work together then even nurses and doctors since we are around our kids 24 seven and we know their personality.
This is a very unusual and not normal for him I am tired of talking to doctors that tell me that babies do cry and a little fussiness and gas pains is only colic
My daughter was never a colic baby and she ended up with surgery at four weeks old because she stop having bowel movements I'm concerned this is something I am seeing in my son
Any insight advice would be greatly appreciative thank you

That's a lot of juice especially for such a young baby. I would definitely get a second opinion from another dr because that just doesn't sound right!
@heavenwings, i was told to give two ounces of water if constipated. and not to resort to juice.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

The nurse I was talking to Her sounded like she was googling things. Before I was told by his actual nurse since his has been out of town.
To give him one oz twice a day... he has only a total of 2 ounces and I try to stimulate his bottom he only let out maybe a between Nickel and quarter size of stool....
I tried it again but nothing happened the second time he has been passing gas still crying like he is in horrible pain ☹️️ whole time I was trying to help him poop he just kept crying and screaming I held him close sang to him and offered the boob to see if he would eat and he did.... I finally got him to sleep in my arms I guess he be sleeping with me since I must get up at seven and I don't dare try to lay him down since when I have he wakes up again! 😕😩 this mama must get some sleep @bodaciousb6 @cubanese @nikilauren
