Afraid of my upcoming endocrinology appointment.. I'm 4 months PP and was supposed to have lost weight which I HIGHLY doubt happened. Trying to keep my breastmilk supply up, stressing about my kids, and weight loss don't mix for me :/ #Type1diabetes

No idea what her current weight is, but it makes me sigh with relief every time I look at my (6lbs at one point) chunky monkey. We had a very rough first week with delayed milk (due to entirely unnecessary and quite ineffective induction) but now we are going strong and pumping enough to build a small emergency stash!

6pm and I am falling asleep. 4 month old would totally be keen on heading to bed but my 2 year old not so much. I appreciate all the time and work my husband does picking up additional jobs but I really miss him being home.

My thought process anytime my baby sleeps more than an hour in her bed.

"wow she's been sleeping long.. Is she okay? What if she's not okay? I should check on her. But most likely she is fine and then I might wake her. But what if she isn't?? No I'm sure she's fine. Im a terrible mom because I'm not checking on her. Okay, I'll go check. I'm a terrible mom because I'm not letting her sleep. Oh well, I'd never be able to forgive myself if she wasn't okay and I didn't check....

Why do people think touching a sleeping baby in a wrap is a wise choice?? Seriously!! I mean, do you really think she's going to all of a sudden wake up smiling just because they want her too? My milk finally came in yeaterday (Phia was 5 days old) and I definitely have a good supply today. Apphia Marie, born at 2:09pm April 20 after 3 days of inducing. 4 hours of legitimate, actual contractions once the OB broke my water, and no more than 5 minutes pushing (I literally pushed a max of 5 times). Everything happened crazy fast once it finally started, and we are both recovering very well!! 7lbs 0oz, 19inches, perfect blood sugars for her so far, and I'm still trying to figure out my own insulin settings but I've stayed under 150 with no lows!?
