My milk finally came in yeaterday (Phia was 5 days old) and I definitely have a good supply today. They are blaming the delayed production on the diabetes but my blood sugar has been near damn perfect so I'm not sure that was the right explanation. As of Saturday, my baby girl had lost a full pound (14% loss) but that was based on a falsely high birth weight due to the three days of us on ivs. Yesterday she has already gained back a little over an ounce (we had to give her a few ounces of formula on Sunday, she was so inconsolable), and now that my milk is in full force I have high hopes for our (hopefully last) weight check.
