Hospital bound with my son all because of a fever of 100.9 that was over 24hrs ago and has not returned since. I hate that hes getting poked by needles and messed with. We got told that we might not be leaving for another 3 days. I am not ok with this. The er nurses were horrible and my son is bruised from them fighting him and holding him down to draw blood. The pediactric nursebwas able to poke his foot without waking him and get the blood on the first try. I just want to take my bug home.

I'm so sorry mama :( E was in the hospital around the age your son is and it was so hard watching him get poked and prodded. I cried when they started his IV, I'm here if you want to talk. Do they know what's wrong?

My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk out...
My son literally cried as soon as I put him down! So I literally have to be holding him all day, I'm drained. I live my baby but this is getting outta control. How can I get my son to stay on his own without crying?
My 5 year old brother just got circumcised due to all the infections he kept on getting & seeing him in so much pain not being able to walk makes me glad I got my son circumcised as a newborn & planning on doing the same with my second baby.
My son just can’t win. Anyone’s little get a hernia in their balls ? My son was crying when I washed him down there . Took him out and it’s so swollen. Like so swollen. Only one though. I think it might be a hernia . Waiting for the pediatrician to call me back now 😭😭
Tell me if I'm wrong... So we see my SO son on sats for 3 hours we live in wixom but we have to drive an hour to get him and take him to his moms that lives about a half hour away from where we pick him up to be there for an hour then turn around and drop him back off then drive an hour back home. But I have to stay home with the baby because I don't want him in the car seat that long. I wanna go I wanna see his son and I want both the baby's to get used to each other and have him get used to me...
@vb95, they are just running a bunch of tests because of the fever to make sure nothing is wrong since hes so young. They have done blood twice now and the first time came back normal. Hes been on antibiotics since we got here and they did a lumbar puncture to see if theres any infections in his spinal fluid. They are going to check it again monday morning.
