Working mommies with newborns. Did you work during the day or at night? If your worked during the day did you feel better and were you able to actually pump or did you just formula feed? If you worked at night I have pretty much same question. I am trying to figure out what to do when I have to go back to work in august or september. I have enough money to keep up with my bills till end of august but thats it.

The love you'll have for your son will make it so worth it. My maternity leave was also really screwed up and I found out I had to be back at work the week before I was expected to be there, which I hadn't stocked up on milk or anything. And to me, 6 weeks isn't fair to leave a baby.. They are still so dependent on you so I felt so guilty if I were to work again
yeah. it definitely wasn't easy to get up in the middle of the night for feedings and then have to be awake by 7:30 to be to work by 9. but you find the willpower to do it to provide for your family. by 8 weeks she was in a routine and she was sleeping 6 hours at a time which made things easier. it's rough at first but you can do it. thankfully my boyfriend got a better job so I quit to be home with her.
@zaysmomma, I am going to be a single mommy from this moment on. I left Derek due to many reasons and so he lives in tampa still and I will be now in Largo with my parents. I refuse to ask them for help with my bills when they have all ready been helping with what baby boy needs. I need to work but I am regretting it and hes not even here still.
I had to quit because I was exclusively breast feeding and I wasn't getting a lot out when I pumped. But I am also a single mommy so that's more of why I did. I had no help so I really didn't have a choice 😭
I breastfed for the first four weeks then switched to formula when I went back to work at four weeks. I couldn't stand pumping. you could try pumping or you could always supplement and just use formula while your working and breastfeed the rest of the time but she stayed with my mom and I worked a 9 to 5 job.
Random question! At what time during the day did everyone waters break? I always imagine it being at night in bed 😂😂
Do you swaddle?
How long did you swaddle? Was it hard to break the habit of them needing to be swaddled to sleep? Do you swaddle during the day or only at night? Please tell me everything about swaddling!!!
To all the mommys out there! When did your baby stop waking up for night feedings and did you have to sleep train them to do so or did they just eventually stop waking up to eat! My son eats more at night than during the day and this mommy is TIRED!
Maybe by then, if it's a 24 hour Walmart, a couple hours at night would be easiest if your son is sleeping thru the night!
