my sweet boy got circumcused friday, he's three months old since he was born two months early we had to wait until he was discharged from the nicu and showed a pattern of positive weight gain.
it is so tough watching him be in pain, the doc warned us it would be a bit more painful for him since he isn't brand new but oh my gosh...I'll never do it again

After our time in the nicu my supply took such a huge hit and as his tummy grew the struggle to pump and keep up with his eating schedule without the stimulation from latching and the stress from just worrying about my little guy , my supply dwindled away to nothing and the ratio of my milk to formula got smaller and smaller. Once we got home I was struggling to express any milk at all. At my checkup for birth control with my Obgyn told me about her experience breastfeeding with her preemie and ...

hey ladies. I used to be so active on this page during my pregnancy , it really helped with the pregnancy insomnia. my son came 8 weeks early on oct 11 and spent a month in the nicu. since he had came home it's been really hectic ! but I'm back !!!

Spread Awareness For Preemies !
I never had any idea how many babies are born too early and under weight , which can end up causing obstacles in the long run, not only for the child but also their families. My 32 weeker has been tough and is taking everyday and making the most of it and we are well on our way to being out of the nicu hopefully next week, but some babies aren't as lucky. This has changed myself and my family forever.

Our 32 weeker is officially out of his incubator and in an open crib. He is two weeks old as if today , and almost back up to his birth weight. hopefully not too much longer of a stay in the NICU.

does anyone else have really hard to handle in laws?

I got to put my preemie to breast this morning for the first time. I planned on exclusively pumping but since I ended up having him at 32 weeks gestation needs the extra bonding.
