Everybody child is different, but you should wash them because there baby skin is so delicate. I washed all my son clothes for safety reasons! But if you feel the need not to than good luck, all should be fine I'm sure!! @snipsnsnails

You should 100% wash all clothes, bedding, etc when you buy them. Especially for baby! It's covered in chemicals and formaldehyde. Very bad for babies sensitive skin.

definitely wash blankets, bedding and that stuff but as far as clothes go, I'd only wash a little bit . baby's grow quick and may not fit things. that way you can exchange for bigger sizes or sell....

It's up to you, I washed everything blankets, bedding, clothes etc all in Tide (I don't remember the name of it right now lol pregnancy brain) but it's the free and clear kind with no perfumes. I figured it would be good to do in case of any chemicals on the fabrics

It's honestly all about preference :) your baby will be perfectly fine either way!

I washed all of my son's. It made them softer
