My 2 1/2 month old had been so cranky the last two days. He is exclusively bf and has been pulling away at feeding and crying. I take him off, try to burp him, and he screams. He has been spitting up thick clear mucous with white curds.. And I think he sounds congested. No stuffy nose, more like a rattling in his throat, but it's not consistent... Sometimes, I feel us breastfeeding mommies get jipped, bc daddy can't wake up in the middle of the night and feed the baby... But then he looks in my eyes and smiles, almost as if he's saying "thank you mommy." And it's the best feeling in the world. He makes late nights worth every minute of lost sleep.💙

I'm having a hard time with getting my son to nurse for a long period of time. He will for like 5/10 minutes then fall asleep, then wake up 1/2 hour/1 hour later wanting to eat again. I try to wake him to continue eating but he won't. So I've been pumping between him eating and feeding him a bottle bc he will stay up for the whole thing... I've noticed in not producing much milk. Less than 3oz every 2/3 hours.... What can I do to increase my supply since my son won't spend time eating at the br...

Nursing question!!
My son is exclusively breastfed.. But I've been having to bottle feed him because he just isn't taking to breastfeeding... He will latch (mostly not correctly, and will flip if I try to fix it) and at least once a day I can get him to nurse... But usually he will freak out, crying so hard, and refusing to latch or nurse... He thrashes his arms and legs, and jerks his head away. I've tried switching positions, propping his head... I can't seem to get him happy enough to nurse.....

Haven't been on here much lately. 😓 It's getting so close to my due date, and seeing all of your beautiful babies is making me so impatient for my son to get here!! I hope you're all having a great Monday and you're keeping cool!

I told my doctor like 3 visits ago that after my son is born I want to get on the pill. I don't want to deal with complications from an implant, and I want to lose all my baby weight- and I'm not trying to find out if I will gain from the shot. I plan to breastfeed so I will be continuing to take my prenatal after I give birth, which I can take at the same time as my pill so I know I won't forget... Anyways- every appointment I've gone to since, my doctor keeps seeming like she's trying to persu...

Have any of you ladies been induced due to the size if your baby? Everyone keeps telling me since I'm 36 weeks and my baby is already 6lbs 3oz that my doctor will most likely want to induce me at 38/39 weeks?

I don't ever use this as a place to vent, but I just feel so selfish about my feelings that I'd rather vent here than to people I know in person....
Today is my birthday, I don't work, so it's pretty tight on money (our bills are always paid and we always have a little extra, but not a lot) so I didn't really expect anything at all for my birthday since my whole family and all my friends are in another state- so it's literally just me and my bf.

Went and got a measurement ultrasound today... At 36 weeks my son is weighing in at 6lbs 3oz!! I'm terrified he'll be huge when he's born! Haha. Everyone told me I was too small... Nope, just LITERALLY all baby.😅
