I just spoke to the consultant today. I have confirmed preeclampsia since yesterday. She said she would advise me to have a c section as soon as possible. There is a 4% chance the baby will have breathing issues if delivered at 38 weeks which I am today. She has a slot available this Friday when I will be 38 weeks plus 2 days. If we do a planned c section next Wednesday as scheduled I will be 39 weeks and there is a 2% chance of baby having difficulties with breathing. The earlier i have the baby my blood pressure issue will be resolved apparently. Also, she said she don't know what will happen in next 6 days if I wait for my planned c section in terms of blood pressure and whether it will spike up again. Any advice guys...what would you do? Xx

I definitely get the early slot. Aaliyah as born at 36 weeks with no breathing problems. Why c section. Was home the next day plus pre-e. Is dangerous so I go ASAP xx
I agree with everyone else. Have baby at the earliest opportunity.
Usually I'd say to wait and have daily monitoring but when it comes to pre-e there's no messing. I'd take the earliest slot.
Yeah take the earliest slot I wouldnt mess about with that safest option to get better is to have baby asap 😊 xx

Id also take the earliest slot aswel the only cure is to give birth! X
