The amount of hate in the comments was crazy. Just because you don’t believe in it doesn’t give you the right to say nasty things about them. Not only did they have an issue with her being transgender but also because of her weight. Like who raised these people?

I seriously hate people and how ignorant they are. What does it matter if she is transgender? She has the courage knowing the backlash she’d get to let us know her story and this is how she is treated? Makes me sick honestly! Good for her.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but that doesn’t give anyone the right to bash her like that in comments. It was nasty and unnecessary. Being trans doesn’t make you incapable of being good at a job.

@kesh-kesh I believe they're confused. Follow Jesus, not man. Jesus was very, very clear in his actions.
My dad, a white Catholic, said to me really well (I think) about 30 years ago when being openly gay was starting to be the norm. He said, "I have to be honest, I feel more comfortable with them in the closet. But I know I am wrong and no one should live in the dark to make me comfortable. I just have to adjust."

Here is my deal. She, goes by she, identifies as a woman. We only know she is transgender because she has allowed us to know that information. So unless you’re running genetic tests, or having an intimate relationship with someone does it matter? No matter how you feel about it, is it that hard? If someone goes by a nickname and not their full name, do we fight them? No! Why fight someone in their pronouns and gender identity?

We had to have the whole non-binary conversation with our 8 year old after she encountered a coding project on her kid's site (Scratch) and she had questions. We were just open and honest with her.

We’ve also decided when our kids ask we will tell them things as openly as we can. What people don’t get is even if you don’t agree with someone’s life choices it doesn’t give you a right to be disrespectful. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but somethings you just should be quite about.

@kesh-kesh that's what we told her. That every being (who isn't just damaged and crazy) strives to live peacefully and with ease, and it must be very isolating to feel this way. And because we are Christian, we always come back to one major thing. The Gospel of Jesus. Not the bible, which has been written and translated (and often MIStranslated on purpose) by man, but what Jesus actually did and actually taught. He was pure love who was SO radical in his love for those on the edge of society that he was murdered for it. We try to understand and accept others who are trying to live their lives. It isn't our job to judge everyone. We worry about being the best people we can personally be and are kind to others. @icebergahead

I know what I was meaning to ask y'all . Is it true that at the age of one your baby would have to switch to sippy cups because of their teeth rotting out? The nurse told me I would have to stop Carmen from drinking out of bottles since she's has been switched to whole milk because it will start rotting out her teeth.🤔 Help me understand because either way wouldn't the whole milk still be in her mouth unless you brush her teeth ?
