Schools been closed for 2 days and we are alreasy up to our eyeballs in school work they've sent over. Obviously i don't want Charlie to fall behins but between me and Craig we are struggling to find the time to sit and do it 😩 He's been told he can go to school because he's under SENCO, has an EHCP and we are both keyworkers but im up in the air on what to do. Any advice? 😓
School fees Having an intense debate on Facebook about school fees for public school. I'm in the "stop whining about school fees and stop having kids if you can't afford them" camp and there is the other camp of "free school is a constitutional right! It's bull s*** we have to pay anything at all".
Well it’s official we are doing remote learning in the fall. The school board voted and went along with what the superintendent wanted. I can’t even say I’m upset or mad about it cause I do think it was the right decision and we had a bit of a warning that this was how it was going to go. Even though I’m in a good position, a sahm, and very fortunate I can still say it sucks lol. What about your kids school?
He's in jail It's been almost 2 years since I've received any sort of communication with my son, that I gave up for adoptions parents. Yesterday was my birthday and guess what I woke up to this morning? An email from his parents. I was so excited until I opened the email to find out that they are writing to let me know he's been sentenced to a juvenile detention center. Why you may ask? Armed robbery. Clearly they are doing a stellar job raising my kid ????
Transgender children So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do u think the parents are behind this? Idk because I haven't met the parents or children. I just think at 5 it's very young for children to really understand. What do u ladies think?

Jayden been offer the same babe. as. He Jayden has EHCP since 7 years old us he under senco and he been Statement plus Aaliyah been offer the same as she having ehcp and she started to be under senco. But I just chose to keep them both off as my hubby high risk and I feel If it not safe for the kids to be in school I rather keep them home. Safe but that just my that preference you have to do what best for you xxx

Both my boys have an EHCP and are in school. They need it! The last lockdown they weren't in and it really affected them massively. Our school has had 1 case of someone testing positive since sept, so I'm confident that the school are maintaining all the possible measures they can.

I've spoken to the school and agreed to send him in, we will see how many days for now, the less pressure on them and the less risk for him the better. He does need it though, the last lockdown effected him so badly not being at nursery and as I said, I'm desperate for him to not fall behind and I just can't juggle it all. I've been worried of certain family thinking I'm only sending him in to get rid of him for peace and quiet 🙄

At the end of the day sod what anyone else thinks, you know you're doing what's best for your child! I hope he gets on ok, mine seem to be enjoying the quieter classes.

You do what's best for you and your family, doesn't matter what any one else thinks. I wouldn't think twice if it was me because Lexi does better with school and a routine so I would happily send her in. The classes only have a couple of children in so it is safer than a class of 20+ xx
