My son has come home 2 or 3 times from school asking/saying he is a good boy and asks if Santa is going to leave him presents. 😭 I think that's sad and cruel to put that on a kid.

My stepsister had her presents taken away once 🤷🏾‍♀️

I wasn't bad so I never made the naughty list. My brother did.

No but I did receive a naughty letter from "Santa" one year...which means my mother actually told the people at the post office I was naughty or she wrote the letter herself...I was devastated (I was like 5) anyway...looking back... my mother was a bitch

Nope but we where told naughty children got a lump of coal

My mom gave each of my boys a box of sticks and coal because they were being little shits. 😂 of course she had other presents hiding in her car for them afterwards.

Not personally but I have friends as growing up they had family members not get gifts because they were bad.

One year I gave my oldest a box of coal, he was maybe around 6-7, but he also had asked for it lol he got regular presents too

No I never knew of anyone that did that. I could see myself giving coal as a joke. Then come in with presents tho. I could never just give my kid nothing unless we were totally broke.

My grandmother was very strict. My mom tells me stories about how they’d get nothing for birthdays or Christmas if they didn’t have good behavior. My uncle who used to get kicked out of every school he went to for bad behavior rarely got gifts.

I knew someone whose stepmother told him Santa didn't bring him anything because he was bad, and his stepbrother and stepsister opened gifts in front of him.

I still think of it from time to time. He was a very fragile person and I think it just really effected him to his core, her meanness to him. How his father could allow it I will never know.
