I want to start my baby a bank account that grows money so that when she is older it can give her a start. No one did this for me. I believe as a parent I should set her up for success. Do anyone know anything that I can invest in or types of accounts that I can get started up. ( Yes I'm also using Google to research)

Here’s the info on the 529 accounts. Both my kids have these. It comes right out of my dh’s paycheck and right into their accounts. They can’t touch them till they are 18 years old. My boys already have a good amount in theirs. My oldest son actually has 2 accounts cause our friend “his godfather” set it up for him at his 1st bday. Also anyone can contribute to this account. Like for bdays and whatnot. When we don’t have any ideas as to what to tell people to get our kids we tell them they can put some money in their 529 accounts. It’s a great thing cause I believe it’s before taxes
U should do a college fund. My kids have then u believe they are called a 529 but don’t quote me on that.
Also my dh did a lot of research on this and this was the best plan for our kids
